Distribitor troubles

I have a question about the distribitor that came with my tudor (original one to car probly). I has a crack in the bottom shaft. Is this usable as is? If I remeber right it sits in the engine and doesn't stick out inside the engine.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Today I got the engine into the chassis. I have a few more things to paint before I can drive the chassis around to test it. I still have to adjust the new brake rods, and paint the rear backing plates and drums.
Almost a roller!

Got the chassis pretty much a roller. Front and rear end are now in. I need to finish restoring the rear backing plates and a few other misc. parts then the chassis is ready to get the motor. Hope to be test driving the car in the next week or so. I uploaded a bunch of pictures of my progress. Please leave me some comments and suggestions.
Thanks for reading and checking out my site!
PS: Thanks to:
My dad- Ron
My girlfriend- Lisa

This past Saturday my dad and I took a ride up to a fellow clubmember's house. He had told me he would help me rebuild my rear end when I had the parts and everything ready. he also helped me with a lot of other little things. i have posted pictures in the project gallery.

I have a new section up. It is for my other projects that keep me busy in between the tudor restoration.
Also, i have purchased a new email, through webs.com which i purchased the hosting for this site. $18 per year for the email. My reason for doing this is because everyone has been telling me that they have been reciving emails from my aol email, modelakid31. They were spam emails consisting or porn and virius links and just plain old random stuff! If anyone has gotten these emails from me dont worry, i have a new email and wont be emailing anyone from that email again. If you receive any email from my old email just ignore it. Here is my new email: michael@modelakid.com feel free to drop me an email and chat A's or tractors with me.
Will be posting more soon.
Thanks,
Mike
